I'm on the plane back from Fortaleza, Brazil, after having an epic week in Cumbucu, the wind is so good there, its not even a question if its going to be windy or not, it always is 10m weather or me, and the lagoon is perfect for leaning and practicing tricks, I Broke a Kite on one of the huts! i saw it happen so many times though, getting if fixed was easy enough. One week in the lagoon is like 2 months at home! I couldnt kite all day though because of my elbows, i get really back tennis elbow so i had to take breaks every now and again. But overall yea the trip was amazing make sure you go to Brazil and Cumbucu is so cool!

In Brazil, There was qualifiers to get into the event the locals were really good but i managed to qualify in the first heat, i then went through 2 heats and got knocked out into the double elim by the brazilian champion who was ripping, i broke my kite half way through the heat as well!! then in my next heat i came up against tom court, an english rider who is riding well i had a shocking heat and he had a really good heat so he went through, this meant i came 17th out for 36, it was annoying but i wasn't too unhappy because it was still one of my first events so i'm still happy just to be there and watch so that was cool. After the event i headed to Cumbucu with Aaron and Ruben for some training, we got a few good sessions in before Aaron went to Chilli, Ruben dicided not to go because he hurt his ankle, hes chilling here for a bit. My elbow is giving me problems its so frustrating being somewhere so perfect and not being able to kite your best!! . I'm looking forward to getting back to england to do well in the last english event and my home spot!Right before i came to brazil i was at an english event in littlehampton, i came 4th which i was pretty annoyed at, i had discusion with the judges after the heat and i should have gone through into the final but it doesnt all ways go your way. There wasn't much he could do after all, they made the decision. I'm still 2nd overall in England and after brazil i'm around 25th in the world which is cool.

Brazil!!
As we speak im in Lisbon airport waiting for a flight to Fortaleza to compete in the Brazil PKRA, and get some really good training in! i cant wait. Ill keep you updated on how i do.
ok so i havnt updated this in ages! thats how busy i have been. In the tarifa PKRA i came 13th after beating my fellow countrymen Robin Snuggs, i had a by through against Youri Zoon and had a few other heats, so i was pretty happy about that!
I went on my cousins 71ft Yacht for 10 days, we sailed it from near farrow airport in Portugal down to Morroco then back up to Gibralter, it was a really cool experience and i got a few kite sessions in as well as a few days of surf. We got some wicked pictures that ill put up eventually!!
English Events
Theres been a few english events, i won scotland which put me 2nd overall close behind lewis. I came 4th in Littlehampton which was a bit of a bummer but there was issues with the judging which you cant do much about. So i think im still 2nd overall im not sure.

Im on my way back from the Skegness event, last weekend at hunstanton and this weekend at skegness has been really good. The evnts are much bigger with loads going on, more sponsorship and much better organised. At hunstanton i didnt sail well and came 5th which i was really disapointed with. This weekend i was sailing well and went striaght into the final with no trouble but then the wind dropped so the final wasnt run meaning i dont get any points! which is really frustrating but nothing can be done. so i have to wait til scotland to improve my overall placing.
Im off to tarifa next week forr my f irst PKRA which i cant wait!!!
