Wind Or No Wind!

I just got home after one of the best events i have ever been to. The Wind or No wind jam.

The idea behind the event was to bring everybody’s skills together in a watersports paradise, we could hone our skills at the best training ground in the world on the cable, boat or winch park then if the winds up put all our new tricks to practice. I think it will push wakestyle kiteboarding and wakeboarding to new heights and set the bar where kiteboardings future is. It was so cool to bring almost two generations of riders together, the guys who influenced us young guys to do what we do today who still throw down as hard as anyone, like the autofocus crew! And the up and coming riders with the jedi skills to push kiteboarding where its never gone before! Watch this space!

Everybody was killing it, so its hard to call out names, but Aaron Hadlow, Brandon Sheild and myself cleaned up in the prize giving! I managed to take home a 2nd in the Kite Event and 3rd in the Cable. Aaron won the overall, it was really cool to see a big UK crew there always killing it, Tom Court was right there too nailing sick crows and 7s, and of course James Boulding who is also filming the event managed to find the time to throw down as hard as anyone.

I’d like to give a big shout out to Morris and everybody who made the event happen! I cant wait till next year now.
